UNESCO World Heritage site
Spend an unforgettable time in the heart of the Dolomites
A unique nature spectacle, the Dolomites boast incredible, monumental beauty. The area was named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2009, and attracts countless visitors all year thanks to its magnificent scenery. We are proud to live in this stunning place, surrounded by some of South Tyrol's most breathtaking peaks, exciting Nature Parks and many of the country's most beautiful locations.
The Heritage Site, located in the heart of South Tyrol, in the northernmost region of Italy, is named after the geologist Déodat de Dolomieu. There is no other place in the world where pristine, quiet Alpine pastures rub shoulders with steep, imposing 3,000 meter summits. The Dolomites have had a profound influence on the people and culture of the region, making South Tyrol a place of contrasts and variety.
You can climb magnificent mountains, discover the Alpine flora and fauna, recharge your energy levels in the untouched nature, and admire spectacular scenic views in the UNESCO World Heritage site.
